About Us

We began working with Norfolk County Council in 2011, providing catering services for a Housing with Care scheme in New Costessey. Building on the success of this partnership, we went on to establish a further 14 kitchens across Norfolk, creating a trusted network dedicated to delivering nutritious, high-quality meals to local communities.

The experience, expertise and strong reputation developed through these operations provided the foundation for our next stage of growth: manufacturing and supplying meals at scale to NHS organisations across Norfolk and Suffolk. This marked a significant milestone in the evolution of Country Kitchen Foods (Norfolk) Ltd and strengthened our position as a trusted foodservice partner within the healthcare sector.

Today, we proudly produce and deliver more than 300,000 meals each year, combining quality, reliability and locally sourced ingredients wherever possible to support the diverse needs of our customers.

Quality Meals, Better Patient Care

From our Norfolk production facility, we create and deliver high-quality single and multi-portion meals directly to healthcare and care settings across the region.

As a long-standing NHS partner, we understand the important role food plays in patient wellbeing, recovery, and quality of life. Our menus are developed in line with British Dietetic Association (BDA) guidance, offering nutritious, appetising meal choices that meet a wide range of dietary needs.

Alongside our standard menu range, we provide IDDSI-compliant texture modified meals and renal-friendly products, helping healthcare providers support patients with specialist nutritional requirements.

By combining quality ingredients, dependable service, and clinically informed menu development, we remain committed to putting patients at the heart of everything we do.

This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to producing safe, high-quality meals while meeting the highest standards of food production, traceability and operational excellence.
